This custom garage door uses three different board widths to create an amazing and unique design to suit this homes modern façade.

For this door installation, our customer contacted us as they wanted a Custom Blackbutt Hardwood Panel Door to match other parts of their new home which featured blackbutt cladding.
The customer supplied us with 3 different widths of blackbutt shiplap cladding boards – 133mm, 89mm and 42mm – with instruction to make a randomised door pattern.
This resulted in an amazing and completely unique design! For the interior we custom coloured the frame, tracks and hinges black to match the window frames. Due to the weight of this door we also had to use our upgraded Merlin Extreme Opener with aluminium extruded rail. To seal the edges of the garage door we installed our Cleverseal Brush Kit.
The customer loved their new Delta Custom Garage Door and advised us it fit in perfectly with the rest of the design and featured cladding of the house. They were so happy to have engaged MGD to complete their custom installation!
