Earlier last year we completed the installation of this Delta Flushmount Panel Door with 120x18 Spotted Gum Cladding with Shiplap joins in a vertical orientation. The idea behind this design by Liquid Architecture was to hide a garage entry in the amazing feature of this spotted gum façade.
The client was not only using this door as their garage but also as their office for their own clients so we included for better aesthetics all the door frame, hardware and tracks to be powdercoated black to match in with the windows frames. The final requirement was to ensure we had an opener sufficient enough to reliably operate this door on a daily basis and for this it was only one choice, the Merlin MS125 Commander Extreme complete with Merlin MyQ Smartphone Kit and Battery Backup. Fair to say we believe we hit the brief in this amazing outcome.
