How often should I get my garage door serviced?Regular garage door servicing will help minimise the chance of failure when you least expect it. Garage door service intervals should be every 12 to 24 months, depending on the warranty requirements and usage rate (low = 2-4 times per day & high = 12+ times per day). If you have a high usage rate, have your garage door serviced at least every 12 months and at least every 24 months for low usage rate. To determine the optimal service schedule for your garage door, also take into account its location, the local climate, its degree of exposure, any physical stress it endures, physical impacts and if it's used commercially.
